Industrial Chains

Industrial Chains, specially designed for industrial production, vary from sector to sector and depending on the need, but are generally used to meet the needs such as lifting, carrying and driving.

Industrial Chains, which have various areas of use, can be generally grouped under three titles:

1- Load carrying chains

2- Transfer chains

3- Drive chains

The first thing to consider is the load that the chains will carry when choosing an Industrial Chain. Industrial Chains can vary depending on the load they will carry and the application in which they will be used, and must have a power transfer potential appropriate to the volume, structure and content of the load.

Load carrying chains

The Industrial Chain branches, known as load carrying chains, is used to move a product from one place to another. The Industrial Chain in this position is used to lift the material to be carried. Therefore, the most important element in terms of load carrying chains is the pulling force.

The most prominent type of Industrial Chain among load carrying chains is round link chains. Round link chains are used quite frequently, especially in lifting machines.

 Transfer chains

 Transfer chains, another link in the Industrial Chain branches, are the general name given to the types of chains used to transfer a load from one place to another.

The most prominent types in the use of transfer chains are chains consisting of inner and outer links with the ability to rotate.

Drive chains

Drive chains, another branch of Industrial Chains, can be briefly summarized as the type of chain that mediates the transmission of energy generated in the power source to the environment to which it is intended to be transferred.

Drive chains can be used in many different areas, primarily machine tools, the food/beverage industry and reducers. The structure of drive chains may vary depending on the sector.

Another anecdote is that although transfer and drive chains can be theoretically separated, they are types of chains that can be used for the same purposes.
